A creative and pioneering entrepreneur, I am the founder of Black River Wealth and Finwello, companies that are focused on applying behavioral insights to help actively strengthen wealth and financial health.

I “blame” my creativity on my parents who named me after the lead character in a song by legendary storyteller, poet, and philosopher Tom T. Hall. It is a song about the death of a young boy’s idol, the impression he left and the impact he had as the boy grew up to become the storyteller.

Family has and always will be central in my life. I am forever indebted to my parents and brother for the sacrifices they made in support of my dream of becoming an Olympian. While I excelled in the sport of swimming, competing as a national finalist on multiple occasions, I ultimately fell short of achieving that Olympic dream.

Now with a family of my own, I’ve set my sights firmly on creating a future filled with abundance for my family, my community and the organizations that have helped me become who I am today.
